Disney Princess raceswap.

Quick sketch that’s not fully researched so apologies for any errors in costumes, just needed to get internetrage out of my system.  Reading and following Disney blogs there’s always the guaranteed idiot comment that pops up when the subject of Disney and skin colour comes up: “Oh black/asian/arabic/native peoples need to stop complaining, they have Tiana/Mulan/Jasmine/Pocahontas”.  Hey genius, if you had 1 princess out of 10 to claim as “your own” then you’d be complaining too.

Fascinating and beautiful! I love them all!

Random request week results 2 of 3.

“The Disney Princesses at high tea, drawn to look like their film’s ages (Snow White is 75, Cinderella is 62, Aurora is 53, etc.). More grande dame than goofy. The ‘younger’ Princesses could be drawn as toddlers or young women” for mdmbrightside.   Seeing as they needed a common environment despite their various fairytale eras I brought them all together into an edwardian afternoon tea setting, hope that’s ok.
